These are teams made up a large group of kids who play 'fun' games and often don't even keep score, but simply hone their skills. Brussels then took to the field with Quesenberry on the mound. Seaforth scored seven runs on six hits, two errors and four walks. In the second Brussels would be Waechter saved 15 shots on net. The final score was 3-2 for Brussels keeping the team in the first-place slot in the North Perth U-10 South Division. Coach Mike Cronin is very thrilled with this team's ability to play together. The players are: Curt Bloemberg, Alyssa 'and Tyler Cronin, Tiffany Deitner, Carlie and Wyatt Ducharme, Patrick Franken, Kiaran Jared, Jamee Johnston. Mitch scored a homerun with three -runs in the first. inning and caught a pop fly later in the game. In the fifth inning, Adam Westerhout also had a home-run scoring three runs. Jason Salverda got an out at first. Despite these e fforts, Londesborough went down to defeat 23 - 10. Hudson -Smith, Darren Evans. Julia VanNes,. Cody Harding and Sarah Strome helped Derrick Waechter to have a shoot out. Two snuck by -to make the final score 3-2. left a the plate with strikeouts to Evan Ducharme, Wade Stephenson and Taylor Prior. Wheeler took over pitching chalking up two strikeouts and allowing no runs. Brussels managed to score a single when Cody Subject waited the walk and stole his way home. Wheeler, in the third, held the Seaforth team to no runs. Pipe singled and advanced to steal home in the fourth. Wheeler left Seaforth with runners in scoring position as she added another two strike-outs. Brussels had another chance to score in the fifth when Stephenson started with a double and Subject waited the walk. Both advanced on passed balls. Stephenson would get tagged coming home to dash a chance at a run. Wheeler hurled three strike-outs in the fifth to give Brussels a chance to catch the Seaforth team. Wheeler singled and scored on a double by Pipe to put Brussels within two. Again Brussels held a tight defence to hold Seaforth to no runs. Brussels had one last chance to score yet hopes were deflated when Ducharme and Prior struck out and Stephenson popped out to short. The score remained 7-5 for Seaforth. Brussels then travelled to Sebringville. Stephenson led off this game with a single and advanced-on a single by Dietner. Here they would remain when Wheeler, Pipe and—Subject were left swinging at the plate. Ryan-Smith was.on the mound for B.Eussels. Sebringville scored...five runs ,cm seven singles. one walk and one strikeout. Brussels loaded the bases on walks to Ducharme, Quesenberry and Prior. Ducharme was tagged at home trying to steal and strikeouts to Kellington, Jenessa Neill, Kristen Pipe, Cody Rathwell, Madelaine Rouleau, Morgan Sheppard, Eric VanNes, Emma Strome and Tim Waechter. Smith and Dietner left the bases full. Sebringville came out swinging in the second adding seven more runs on one double, five singles, two walks and a strikeout. Wheeler started a rally for Brussels leading off with a single. Subject and Quesenberry loaded bases on walks. Wheeler snuck home on a passed ball. Smith loaded the bases again on a walk. Subject also reached home on a steal yet Smith got caught going to second to end the rally. Wheeler took over on the mound allowing two runs on two hits. Brussels added another run in the fourth when Stephenson led off with a triple and stole home on a passed ball. Sebringville was shut down in the fourth. Brussels had one last at bat due to a time limit. Pipe out-ran a throw to get to first only to be tagged trying to reach second. Subject and Ducharme ended the game standing at the plate. The final score was Sebringville. 14, Brussels, three. The next home game for Brussels is June 21 at 7 p.m. against Holmesvi Ile. Londesborougn Mites tie Stanley •.
