THE CITIZEN, THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 2006. KATHLEEN CUTHILL Kathleen (Storey) Cuthill of Brussels and formerly of Seaforth passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Huronlea, Brussels. She was in her 94th year. Kathleen was secretary-treasurer of Seaforth Fair board for several years, past District Deputy President of the Rebekah Lodge and a member of Northside UCW and the Seniors Club. Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Wilmer Cuthill, who predeceased her in 1983. She was the dear mother of Phyllis and Emerson Mitchell of Brussels and loving grandmother of four grandsons, Gordon (Julie) and Ross, all of Grey and Doug (Janet) and Neil (Marie), all of Morris. She was loved by 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Kathleen was the dear sister and sister-in-law of Edmond (Bertha) Storey, London; Orville (Lila) Storey, RR1, Seaforth; Charlie Storey, St. Marys; Arnold Storey, Mil verton; Clara Dale, Clinton; Margaret Wasson, Brussels; Mavis Guest, Kitchener; Jean Storey, Stratford and Helen Storey, McKillop. Kathleen is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her parents, John H. and Lizzie (McLeod) Storey, brothers Ellwood (Dorothy) Storey, Lloyd (Merle) Storey and Harold Storey, half brothers William John (Beryl) Storey, Frank (Verna) Storey and Joseph (Sarah) Storey, and one half sister Tillie (Jock) Earl predeceased her. Family received friends at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 30 at 2 p.m. Rev. John Gould officiated. Pallbearers were Gordon, Ross, Doug, Neil, Rob and Jamie Mitchell. Flowerbearers were Erin, Holly, Manc4, Sean, Emily, Sarah and Claire Mitchell. Interment was in Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Condolences may be Made at www.whitneyribeyfuneralhome.com MARY WALDEN Mary Eleanor Isabel (Cook) Walden, formerly of Blyth and Westfield passed away peacefully at Restview Home, Clinton on Saturday, May 27, 2006. She was in her 88th year. Mary was born in Westfield on Oct. 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (Tunney) Cook. Following her marriage to Lloyd, Mary helped her husband on their farm in East Wawanosh Twp. Mary was also a faithful member of the Blyth United Church for many years. She was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Walden, who predeceased her in 1993. She was the loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Rachel Walden of Clinton, Brian and Beverley Walden and Linda Wilson, all of Blyth and Dianne Walden of Goderich. Mary was also loved and will be sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by one daughter Donna Cunningham in 1973, one son Garth Walden in 1998, one grandson Tyler Wilson on 1998, two sisters Laverne Cook and Gene Snell and by one brother-in-law Alvin Snell. Friends were received at the Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., Blyth Visitation Centre, 407 Queen St., Blyth on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the Blyth United Church Wednesday, May 31 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robin McGauley officiating. Pallbearers were Tim Walden, Wes Wilson, John Walden, Mathew Walden, Dorian Walden and Rodney Cunningham. Flowerbearers were Christa Walden, Tara Fleming and Angie Campbell. Interment was in Blyth Union Cemetery.
