Brussels Livestock report
1,986 head of cattle on offer at sales
Total receipts for Brussels
Livestock for the week ending May
26 were 1.986 head of cattle, 703
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday, the fed steers and
heifers sold $3 higher. The choice
steers and heifers sold $95 to $100
with sales to $106.75. Second cut
sold S90 to S95. Cows sold under
pressure. On Thursday the veal sold
stead to last week. The lambs sold
S5 to SIO higher. On Friday calves
and earlings cold S2 to $3 higher.
There were 327 steers on offer.
