The Huron County Child Abuse
Prevention Committee's mandate is
to strengthen the capacity of
families to relate positively to their
children, to reduce the incidence of
child abuse, and to promote the
healthy development of young
children and families. The Rural
Response for Healthy Children
Program is funded by the Public
Health Agency of Canada.
Students across Ontario participate in the Forest of Trees
Reading Program, an Ontario Library Association initiative
and vote on their favourite book. Students in Blyth Public
School kindergarten to Grade 3 were in the Blue Spruce
group. Here teacher Jeff Gole reads to the Grade 2 class.
