Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the
Wingham and Rashid Hospital Corporation will be
held at the North Huron Wescast Community Com-
plex, Knights of Columbus Lounge, 99 Kerr Drive,
Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, lune 8, 2006 at the
hour of seven p.m. (7:00 p.m.) for the election of Di-
redors, for the appointment of Auditors; and for the
transaction of other such things as may properly
come before the meeting.
Copies of the Annual Report, Hospital Financial state-
ments and amended Bylaws may be obtained at the
front desk of the Wingham 8 District Hospital, effec-
tive June 1, 2006 and at the Annual Meeting.
Memberships granting voting privileges may be pur-
chased at the front desk of the hospital for five dol-
lars (S5.00) prior to five o'clock p.m., Wednesday,
May 24, 2006. No membership sold after that time
will entitle the purchaser to vote.

VASCULAR HEALTH PROGRAM
A new program targeted towards patients who have had a Heart Attack, Stroke or
mini strokes (11As). 2 hour program led by a Nurse Practitioner and Registered
Dietitian. May 25th, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Physician referral is required. Please call

Anthony Peters chosen in OHL priority draft
Blyth's Anthony Peters is one of

Association selected this past
Blyth teen Jenna Rinn recently
had the honour of playing broomball
at the Nationals (Juvenile level) in
Ottwaw.
Rinn was chosen by the Windsor
Devils to join their team and to
compete at this high level
tournament. They played teams
from Newfoundland, Manitoba,
Saskatchewan, Quebec and Ontario.

All five were members of the Lakers
Minor Midget Team 2005 - 2006.
The girls played very well, placing
fourth overall. They lost in overtime
to Saskatchewan in the semi-finals.
Rinn said she was treated very
well by the Windsor team and it was
an experience she will never forget.
Peters, a 6' 1", 170 lb. goaltender
was selected by the Oshawa
Generals.
Peters' older brother Justin played
for several seasons with the Jr. A St.
Mike's Majors. He was picked up in
the NHL draft by the Carolina
Hurricanes and spent the past season
playing with the Plymouth Whalers.

right winger from Exeter, was
selected by the Kingston Frontenacs.

By now, everyone has learned that
Wingham has made it through to
stage three of the Kraft Hockeyville
Contest.
Now Wingham needs your
support.
Wingham's bid for Hockeyville is
once again looking to the
surrounding communities for
support, as the contest enters the
home stretch.
On a request from CBC, Wingham
is being encouraged to collect all the
letters and e-mails they can to take
to the taping in Hamilton on June 6
and 9. Family, friends and
businesses from across Canada are
invited to say why they think
Wingham deserves to be
Hockeyville. The more communities
that show support for Wingham, the
better.
The Wingham Puck-Hogs also
plan to arrange another bus trip to
the June 9 taping in Hamilton when
the top 10 communities will be
announced on air.
When sending your community
endorsement, be sure to include who
you are, where you're from and why
Wingham deserves the Hockeyville
title.

On June 6, Hockeyville will air the
one minute videos on CBC. The
videos will be judged and voting
will take place via phone, e-mail or
text messaging. Once the votes are
