The flowers in the sanctuary were placed by Joan and Neil Vincent and Margaret in loving memory of Joan's father, Robert Osborne who passed away. Rev. Ethel Miner Clare welcomed. everyone. The hymn-sing selections were I Will Sing the Wondrous Story. Now I Belong to Jesus and We Are Marching accompanied by Elizabeth Procter. The call tO worship was read responsively and the opening prayer was repeated in unison. The senior choir sang Here at This Table. The responsive reading was from Psalm 4. Rev. Miner Clare asked the children what things are a sign of peace. They fittingly replied with answers such as dove, cross, heart, ribbons and rainbows. As this is the season of Easter people see new life all around them such as flowers, birds, animals and leaves coming out on the trees. At Easter they celebrate the resurrection of Christ. God offers all a good life, and if they live the way Jesus wants them to, they will have a good life. After prayer the children went downstairs for Sunday school. The scripture lessons were taken from Acts 3: 12-19 and John 3: 1-7 read by Nicole Robinson. Meditation was based on Luke 24: 36-48 and reflected on children's time. God wants people to reach out and help their neighbours and be kind to one another. Margaret Vincent and Andrew Procter collected the offering. After the communion hymn, Let Us Break Bread Together, members of the session, Brian Potter, Mary Thomas, Gloria Dow, Don Procter, Joyce Vincent and Jim Barnes, passed out the bread and wine. 11 tables in play at shoot There were I I tables of shoot in play on Friday, April 28 at the Community Centre.
