Brussels Livestock report
3,402 head of cattle on offer at sales
Total receipts for the Brussels
Livestock for the week ending April
15 were 3,402 head of cattle, 1,176
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday the fed steers and
heifers sold $1 lower to last week.
The fed steers and heifers sold $94
to $96 with sales to $104.75. Second
cut sold $92 to $94. Cows sold
steady to last week. On Thursday the
veal sold $5 to $10 higher to last
week. The light lambs sold $10 to
$15 higher to last week, the heavy
lambs sold steady to last week. On
Friday the calves and yearling sold
steady to last week. At the special
vaccinated sale on Monday, April
10, the calves sold on a very strong
active trade, and the yearlings sold
steady to last week.
There were 622 steers on offer.

was fined $1,000 and Martin Sculac,

Court heart that on Oct. 29, a
Ministry of Natural Resources con-
servation officer from Clinton inves-
tigated a trespass complaint on pri-
vate property in Morris-Turnberry,
near Wroxeter. Help from the

are responsible for implementing the
Nutrient Management Act, 2002.
The information meeting will be
