Trustees of schools throughoat the
township will take notice that the
Board of Health has authorized the
Sanitary Inspector to visit the various
school sections in the spring, and make
a report to the .Board, of the sanitary
condition of the school houses, yards,
wells and outhouses. In case any are
reported unfavorably upon, action will.
be taken to remedy the evil.
Ratepayers and others are also noti-
fied
otifled that the law respecting the regis
tration of births, marriages and deaths,
must be complied with. The Clerk is
instructed by the Government author-
ities to enforce the law respecting del-

village to the effect that Mr. J. N.
Hooper, late of Exeter but now of
Rockwood, Ont., hacl made an assign-
ment for the benefit of his creditors.
Such report is untrue in every sense, as
Mr. Hooper had not or has not had the
slightest intention of doing such. We
do not unders.ancl the reason of this
slanderous rumor, except it be to hurt
Mr. Hooper's commercial reputation,
which, we are glad to announce, is all
right iu every particular.
