The property is well situated and heavily timbered. —Our sanitary inspector put up no less than 10 measle cards on Monday last. This is a good number for one clay, and we are safe in saying that eight of every ten houses in our vill- age is or has been placarded with the "measle photo." -A woman at Chambers, Neb., put two dozen eggs in her bed, so they would not freeze while she was absent from home. Mr. McDonell inter dsshipping another lot about the middle of March, to the same man, and will also, ship horses during the coming springand summer to Sault Ste. Marie.—Mr. Reid of Bellfontain, Ohio, assisted by Snell and White, of this place suceeded in purchasing some of the best horses in this county, among them the following: Imported stallion, "Howell," purchased from Mr. Charles Bean, of Clandeboye, Imported mare "Lena" imported from Scotland by Mr, William Love ,and purchased from Mr. Wilson, of Seaforth; Canadian stallion 2 years old, bred by and purchased from Mr. James Mc- Michael, of Seaforth.
