A Dishonest Argument

Liberal nowepapere who argyle that
Sir Wilfrid Laurior. ehoula breve been
consulted about conscription betbre
Doing asked to join a, mignon Govern-
ment, offer ineult to public under-
peanding. Conscription was the very
bade a coalition. The Government
num that Sir Niailfrict was oppoeed to
compulsion. To have taken him into
the Govermneut without un under-
standing that he would support cone.
puleion would be to create a condition
of thinge under which compuleiou
would have been rendered impoesible.
The Government did the only wise and
reasonable thing. It laid down o.prin-
ciple, the.principle that Canada dada
mete its complete etrength to winuirog
the war, and poked Sir Wilfrid to join
it upon that basica And Sir Wilfrid,
deepite the fake that Sir Robert Bor-
den went to the most generous lengths
to make his course free from clinical',
this, declined the offer, He preferred
to )step his pledge to the Quebec; slack
ere that "We will not have conecrlp-

WONDERFUL STUFF
LIFT OUT YOUR CORNS
Appin a few trop s then lift corns of
callouses oft with fingers —
no pain
No humbug! Any corn, whether
hara or soft or between the toes, will
loosen right up and lift out, without a
particle of pain or soreness.
This drug is called freezone and is a
eompound of ether discovered by a
Cincinnati man,
Ask at any drug store for a small
bottle of fretzone. which will cost but
a, trifle, but is sufficient to rid one's
feet of every corn or callous.
Put a few drops direeLly upon any
Lander, aching cora or callus. Instant-
ly the sorenese disappears and shortly
the corn or callus will loosen and can
be lifted off with the fingers.
This drug freezone doesn't eat out
the corns or calluses but shrivels them
without even irritating the surround.
ing skin,
Just think! No pain at all; no sore.
nese or smarting when applying it or
afterward's. If your druggist don's
have freezone have him order it for
you.

wonder that one man can offer two
