Facilities Manager
The Huron County Highways and Building Services
Department has a permanent, full-time position
available for a Facilities Manager. This position
supervises the Corporation’s physical assets and the
County’s adherence to the Ontarians with Disabilities
Act. Responsibilities include supervision of building
maintenance staff; management of budgets,
maintenance and service contracts; and overseeing
new construction projects.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of a community college program in
Architectural or Construction Technology
• Minimum 5 years experience in building services or
facilities management
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Demonstrated oral and written skills
• Strong interpersonal skills related to motivating
staff to positively achieve desired client services.
