Shining Stars talk
about eating well
The Walton Little School Shining
Stars have been learning what makes
their bodies move and why they need
to eat healthy food. They discussed
the four food groups and how
sometimes the things that taste the
yummiest, really are not good for
them.
The Acorn class enjoyed reading
about Goldilocks and The Three
Bears and playing in the three bears’
house at the dramatic play centre.
Some children made their own three
bears storybook. They painted bear
pictures, learned about bears and
counted sets of three.
They voted on their favourite three
story - The Three Bears, The Three
Little Pigs, or The Three Billy Goats
Gruff.
PEOPLE AROUND
WALTON
We start this week with an apology

sixth place. Her winning photo was
of the Brussels Pipe Band in the
people and places category.

crisp November days left as the children played outside with
bikes and toys. Derrick Waechter and Evan Williamson
