much part of a new project for this
year at the Elliott home. Having
taken a scrapbooking course, Elliott
has created a keepsake of Christmas
memories and traditions. "It has
been so much fun to look back for us
and even for people who visit."
One rule Elliott adheres to,
particularly at this time of year is
simplify. "I have realized that things
can be nice, yet you can still have the
time to enjoy. them. We often put
undue stress on ourselves when we
really should just do what works
well for us."
While the house is decorated in
keeping with its Victorian design,
the family room addition is a
favourite for Elliott. "This is the
room where we can cozy up to the
fireplace. There's no television. It's
the perfect place for chatting."
