Opening Doors for 20 Years!
The following employees (pictured below from left to right) were honoured for their 15 years of
dedicated service to MDL and received a Movado Swiss Watch: Carol Goodland, Mary Baan, Mary
Heise and Doug McLellan.
The owners of MDL Doors, Mervin and Tillie Lichty, are grateful to all employees who have stood
by them over the years, through the ups and downs. We as a team, from sales, truck drivers,
production and office staff have made an impact in the Ontario market and it is with this dedication
that has made it all possible.
In the words of Mervin, "Success is not the size of your company or the amount of employees
you have, but that you as an individual have done things to the best of your ability. Success has come
from everyone who has opened doors of opportunity and allowed me to walk through them. We want
to give a special thanks to all those in this community who have been part of opening those doors of
opportunity for the past 20 years."
Thank You!
Mervin and Tillie Lichty

to play bingo with the residents.
On Nov. 10, nine members of the
Walkerburn Club met at the home of

While the co-presidents and others

followed by roll call being answered
with a donation to the Christmas
Bureau. Bernice Norman gave the
treasurer's report.
A discussion was held regarding
gifts for the residents of Restview
Retirement Home who have no
family or friends.
The January meeting will be held
at Mrs. Boonstoppel's home with the
date to be announced.
Mrs. Boonstoppel was auctioneer

proceeds going to the Salvation
Army. Mrs. Norman and Mrs.
Penfound served lunch and some of
the ladies returned to quilt for awhile
for going home.
The club appreciates the help they
received from some of the Auburn
ladies and the quilt was finished on
Dec. 3.
On Nov. 29 six members of the
Walkerburn Club visited Restview
Retirement Home to sing carols with
the residents. Ila Cunningham

singing.
The women then served a cake,

Cunningham.
