Hall on Nov. 22. The catering dates
for the upcoming year were
discussed.

the previous meeting and the
financial statement.

on Saturday. Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m.
The program convenor Isabel
Campbell, gave a reading Folks Like
You, then introduced Kathy Bromley
who told of her trip to Haiti last year.
She went with a group who were
doing missionary work teaching
women to sew and helping in an
orphanage.
Haiti is about the size of Lake
Huron with a population of 8.2
million. It is the poorest country in
the Western Hemisphere and often
suffers from hurricanes and
tornadoes.
The water is scarce and electricity
unreliable in the homes, many of-
which are shacks. There are a lot of
insects and lizards.
The people earn money doing
crafts and paintings, and appeared to
IV happy although having so little.
Kathy showed many items and
pictures she had brought home and
answered questions.
Lunch was served and a social
time enjoyed.
Vern and Mary Heise and Ron and Trish Clarkson are pleased to
announce the marriage of their children, Janice Lynn and Brett
Russell. The wedding took place July 23, 2004 at the Grey Silo,
Waterloo, ON. The couple is residing in Toronto where Brett is
employed by TLS as a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist and
Janice is doing her Masters of Education at York University.
Love and Best Wishes from your families.
