Sallows Gallery to hold Christmas celebration Another successful season ended last month when the curtain came - down on the final performance of Man of La Mancha at Huron Country Playhouse in Grand Bend. Alex Mustakas. artistic director of Drayton Entertainment, set out this year to engage audiences in a vibrant spectrum of theatrical productions that stretched from a magical children's_ musical to the emotional quest of a 16th-century Spanish playwright. "We are extremely proud of the productions staged at the Playhouse this summer", said Mustakas. Huron Country Playhouse entertained close to 65,000 theatregoers during its 13-week season. Award-winning Drayton Entertainment has operated the Huron Country Playhouse since 2000. Memberships, season subscriptions, and corporate sponsorships continue to steadily rise. A survey prepared by the Ontario Arts Council estimates that for every dollar spent at the box .offi ce, an additional $7 is spent in the community - providing a tremendous economic spin-off for the local community and community-at-large.
