Sallows Gallery to hold Christmas celebration
Another successful season ended
last month when the curtain came -
down on the final performance of
Man of La Mancha at Huron
Country Playhouse in Grand Bend.
Alex Mustakas. artistic director of
Drayton Entertainment, set out this
year to engage audiences in a vibrant
spectrum of theatrical productions
that stretched from a magical
children's_ musical to the emotional
quest of a 16th-century Spanish
playwright.
"We are extremely proud of the
productions staged at the Playhouse
this summer", said Mustakas.
Huron Country Playhouse
entertained close to 65,000
theatregoers during its 13-week
season.
Award-winning Drayton
Entertainment has operated the
Huron Country Playhouse since
2000. Memberships, season
subscriptions, and corporate
sponsorships continue to steadily
rise.
A survey prepared by the Ontario
Arts Council estimates that for every
dollar spent at the box .offi ce, an
additional $7 is spent in the
community - providing a
tremendous economic spin-off for
the local community and
community-at-large.

(NC) — If you're older, your
children have grown and you
have already built up substantial
equity in your home, you may

restaurants and attractions to provide
a truly unforgettable theatre
experience," said Mustakas.
Drayton Entertainment operates
other theatres across the province,
including the Drayton Festival
Theatre in Drayton, King's Wharf
Theatre in Penetanguishene, and
Schoolhouse Theatre in St. Jacobs.
This year the organization will
entertain close to 180,000
theatergoers at its five venues.
Mustakas looks forward to
building on this success and further
enhancing the theatre experience for
residents of Huron County and its
tourist population in 2005.
Plans are already well underway
for the 2005 season, and tickets will
go on sale exclusively to Members
in November - a full four months
before the general public. As this
past season demonstrated, sell-out
productions are becoming the norm,
and Mustakas encourages
theatregoers to book their tickets in
advance to avoid disappointment. A
