The Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Complex was packed for Duff's
United Church Nov. 3 turkey dinner. The crowd lined up to get a plate full of
piping hot mashed potatoes, veggies, stuffing and of course mouth-watering
turkey. Thelma Wilson and Jean Plaetzer help themselves to a pile of the
good stuff. (Elyse DeBruyn photo)

Did you get a start to your
Christmas shopping on the
weekend? There were many
things to choose from at the
craft sales. We are lucky to
have such talented people in
our area.
It was a treat not to have to
drive to the city to hear the
Schneider Male Chorus. Their
music, which included music
of the church, folk, classical
and popular pieces, was
enjoyed by many on Sunday.
The United Church members
also provided a tasty lunch
after the concert.

Those two points meant a
lot as the next two periods
saw a much closer contest,
thanks in part to some

however, Brussels came back

Congratulations to the Fritz

Zurich brought it closer yet
again with an early third-

score. Then White handed off
to Wheeler, who lit the light a
final time for Brussels.
