For all newcomers to the community and also to remind those who have helped for years here is brief history of this annual event. U started in 1949. Each year over 1,000 people sit down together over a traditional hot turkey supper with the whole community contributing time and food to make this supper a huge success. Last year was another great year realizing a profit of $6,500. The proceeds go towards the operating costs of the Belgrave Community Centre arena and park, and to sponsor minor sports programs. Without the fowl supper, these might cease. Please help when the committee call on you. Tickets will be available soon at the local store. gr Close contact At the Belgrave School Fair last Wednesday, students, parents and teachers were able to roam the grounds and enjoy mother nature at its best with a number of sheep, calves, and an emu on display. Hunter Dale sticks his hand through the fence to pet the sheep.
