rejoicing by sharing the news of
God's love.
When a new soul finds peace in
God, the feeling is similar to walking
out of a fog into the light. No more
panic or anxiety about life knowing
God is there to help.

provincial
funding
The provincial government has
committed a total of $1.7 million for
upgrades to hospitals that care for
the people of Huron and Bruce
Counties.
Allocations are: Wingham and
District Hospital, $113,535; Clinton
Public Hospital, $109,594;
Alexandra Marine and General
Hospital, $118,488; Seaforth
Community Hospital, $107,433;
South Huron Hospital Assocation,
$107,570; South Bruce Grey Health
Centre, $434,405 and Grey Bruce
Regional Health Centre, $721,219.
"This investment will help our
local hospitals keep pace with need-
ed improvement so that they can
continue to offer the very best care
to the residents of Huron-Bruce,"
said MPP Carol Mitchell.
The funding is being provided
through the government's Health
Infrastructure Renewal Fund, a new
method that will provide hospitals
with predictable year-to-year fund-
ing for renewal projects and reduce
administrative overhead.
A total of $60 million in capital
funding, more than three times the
amount spent last year will be pro-
vided to all Ontario hospitals for
projects that include, renovations,
structural repairs, upgrades and
improvements to comply with safe-
ty standards and building code
requirements.
A 16-year-old Wingham boy was
killed in a single vehicle crash in
Morris-Turnberry on Sept. 11.
At 1:45 a.m. OPP were called by a
West Street property owner who had
been awakened when a vehicle hit a
tree on the front lawn.
According to police, the car had
been northbound on a gravel road
when the driver lost control and
broadsided the tree bn the passenger
side.
Wingham firefighters extricated
one person from the car. He was
taken to Wingham hospital, but had
died as a result of his injuries.
Police said identification was dif-
ficult as the car had been allegedly
been taken from an elderly person
who lived in Wingham. As well the
driver had no identification.
With the help of hospital staff and
the Wingham Police Services, the
driver was eventually identified as
Brendan Berger.
