The adult pull begins at 1 p.m. and the youth pull is to follow. . (File photo) Whether your interest lies in the tractor pull or in the border collie demonstration, there is plenty to see and enjoy for all ages at the 43rd annual Thresher Reunion. There are special events for both adults and children on each day of the weekend-long event with numerous displays and exhibits to entertain and educate. At 8 a.m. each day, the gates open and on Saturday and Sunday, the first bus leaves the parking lot. • Displays throughout the park are put to work as many begin operating at 9 a.m. Student activities also begin at 9 a.m. on Friday having the opportunity to learn from the such rope masters as they demonstrate things as shingle cutting, making and horse handling. The children's special activities on Saturday and Sunday that begin at 2 p.m.. are generally geared to those 10 years and younger though some older children may be included. Games take place at Radford's ball diamond and prizes will be awarded for all events with no cost to parents.
