ADVERTISING SALESPERSON
The Cit4en requires a part-time sales representative. The
successful applicant needs to be friendly and outgoing. An
artistic sense, or at least a sense of proportion and balance,
is required. An ability to meet deadlines is important. An
ability to work as a team with others is essential. A valid
driver's licence and use of an automobile is essential.
If you meet these requirements we can train you for your
duties which include:
1. Calling on clients to consult with them on their needs
and provide ideas on how to promote their business.
2. Designing advertisements in a creative way.
3. Selling special sections and special pages for The Citizen.
4. Selling for the three-times-a-year Stops Along the Way
visitors' guide.

NEWSPAPER MAILING STAFF
The Citizen requires a person or persons to label and
mail newspapers Wednesday afternoons or evenings.
Work entails:
• Putting mailing labels on newspapers.
• Inserting flyers and special sections.
• Tying papers and putting in mail bags.
• Delivering to post offices and retail stores. Approxi-
mately 100 km driving per week.
Requirements:
• Must have own transportation.
• Requires some medium to heavy lifting.

Women's Shelter, Second Stage Housing &
Counselling Services of Huron is seeking to
hire:
SHELTER SUPPORT WORKER
The successful candidate will have:
•Post Secondary Education in Social Services or related
fields or appropriate combination of training and
experience focused on childcare and crisis
management.
*Ability to perform in a woman centred organization
which bases its services on a feminist analysis of
woman abuse.
*Ability to support to women living in emergency shelter,
providing short-term care for their children.
*A record of proven success in facility and inventory
management.
*Ability to work as an effective team member within the
children's program, planning and implementing
recreational activities.
•Ability to provide short term coverage for Crisis
Counsellors, in the provision of crisis intervention to
women.
Five-month contract commencing September 29, 2004
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Salary based on $32,887 annually

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
We require an individual with an Early Childhood Education
Diploma to fill a vacancy at the Wingham Children's Centre. The
position will commence in the fall of 2004. Applicants must have
the ability to represent a high quality educational pre-school
program in a professional manner and to work as a team
member.
This is an hourly paid position with a 37 1/2 hour work week. A

Wingham.
