ROSE is a -program that simply helps WIs maximize information. Their motive is simply to keep members in the business of caring for their communities, to keep abreast of changing times. When life was simple needs were simpler. In her PAC report Mrs. Foerter said that FWIO has determined there will be no further increases in fees at this time. The book on war stories by the members should be available in November. A letter from PAC concerning the Country Heritage Park — Mountview Hall (WI) in Milton was received. It is necessary that a decision be reached by the membership as to how much they wish to be involved in the upkeep of this hall, and not just in words. There are some repairs that need to be done, but before any money is spent it is necessary to have a commitment from the membership of Guelph Area. How much time, labour and funds are members willing to give? A vote, will be held at the Area Convention, therefore branch members need to discuss this issue at their meeting and decide on their support. There will no longer be subdivisions as of October and the PAC position is coming to an end as well. • The county rally is Sept. 27 in the Gorrie United Church with the theme From Your Kitchen Cupboard.
