Fri & Sat 6:45 & 9:15 Sun - Thur 8:00 (Photo submitted) The Passion of Blyth springs from a curiosity about religious settlement in the area including myth, local history, outdoor imagery, and the unexpected pictures of life. During a workshop last winter it was decided to explore the stories of faith in southern Ontario in 1915: the Scott Act, and World War I. The Passion of Blyth, a new play in development, will be researched and created by a conservatory company comprised primarily of young people embarking on careers in the theatre, either as writers, directors or actors. They all have home bases in Huron County. The Conservatory Project is directed by artist-in-residence, Kelly McIntosh. "I just had the delightful experience of sitting down for the My name is Garrett and this is my little brother Ryan. My third birthday was on August 16 and Ryan's first birthday was on August 25. We had an awesome birthday because we got to spend It with our family. Ryan and I would like to thank our Grandpa and Grandma Bell and our Grandpa Bromley and Grandma Bromley. Also we would like to thank N our Aunt Sharon and Uncle Bomber for all the great presents that we got. And would also like to thank them for always being there for' us. It sure means alot. Thanks again. And we sure love you guys. - Garrett & Ryan Sept. 03 - 09 'As beautiful and rare a love story as ever caressed the heart," :11,00M,OW LTHE- NOT E1300 first time with these players. I've been brought right back to the days when we first sat down with Paul Thompson in 2001 to begin our workshop for The Outdoor Donnellys in what were three of the most creatively challenging weeks of my life. We digested reams of research on the Donnelly family and labored intently allowing imagination to transform the archival material into theatre." McIntosh's goal is to create a new outdoor project here in Blyth, to advance the skills of the conservatory participants, and to learn from them about the history of their home and to share the experience of what it is to create a special and intense relationship with a community and potential audience. Members of the Conservatory are: Jontue Kuyvenhoven, Geoff Armour, Arras Hopkins, Shaunda Loder, Eli Thompson, and Brock Vodden. An outdoor workshop presentation of short scenes was held on Aug. 27.
