For the first time in 13 years, a local man has been elected
governor for the A-9 Lions district. Ben Miller of Nile, was
elected in July and said he feels "privileged" to receive the
honour. As governor, Miller is responsible for 44 clubs
throughout the area including Mitchell, Goderich,
Tobermory, Meaford, Beaver Valley and Orangeville. (Elyse

opportunity to extend my gratitude

for their participation during the
recent Glad Day campaign in
Clinton and Bayfield.
Special thanks to Edythe Snell and
volunteers who work so diligently
year after year and Scrimgeour's
Food Market for allowing us to sell
on their premises. Appreciation to
Morris-Turnberry council. , at its
Aug. 3 meeting, approved the
general accounts payment of $202,

$4,000 pending passage of Belgrave
Community Centre board
