The fed steers and heifers sold at prices steady to last week's market. Fancy and double- muscle steers and heifers sold $84 to $90 with sales up to $112. Choice steers and heifers sold $77 to $81 'and second-cut steers and heifers sold $70 to $75. The cows sold on a steady market. On Thursday the veal sold on a strong active trade while the lambs sold slightly under pres- sure. On Friday all weights and classes of stockers sold on a strong active trade. There were 464 steers on offer. Enoch Martin, Linwood, consigned one blue steer weighing 1,375 lbs. which sold for $112. His overall offering of fourteen steers averaged 1,448 lbs. selling for an average price of $99.79. Ten steers con- signed by Schmidt Brook Farms, Woodstock, averaged 1,460 lbs. which sold for an average price of $74.21 with their top charolais steer weighing 1,430 lbs. selling to Dominion Meat Packers for $86.50. Fancy and double-muscle steers and heifers sold $85 to $90 with sales up to $95.75. Choice steers and heifers sold $77 to $83 and second-cut steers and heifers sold $72 to $75. The cows sold at prices steady with last week's. On Thursday the veal sold on a strong active trade with prices $2 to $5 higher. The lambs also traded on a good active trade at prices $5 to $10 higher. On Friday all weights and classes of stockers sold on a steady market. There were 421 steers on offer.
