Yesteryear
In 1885 John Ferguson built the wagon, carriage shop and blacksmiths. At
the time of this photo, believed to have been taken in 1917, the owner would
have been John Philips. Some of those pictured are: Joe Lawson, b.1856;
Edgar Lawson, b. 1881; Bob Philips, b. 1895; James Howatt; Zeke Phillips,
1871; Bud Beadle and Laura Philips, 1911. The photo is owned by Ivan
Wightman of Brucefield.
