One of Canada's leading fiddlers.

Blyth Festival in Spirit of the
Narrows for five performances (July
20-23. 2004).

The Huron County Museum's
Days of Discovery are every
Thursday from July 22 - Aug. 26.
Registration is open for the day
camp programs. Each day features a
different theme and a set of fun-
filled, hands-on activities.
Children ages six - 11 are invited
to take part in the programs, which
run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The cost is
$20 per child per day. Museum
members receive a discount. Family
discounts are available upon
request. Pre-registration is required.
Can't Stop Inventing is the theme
for July 22. Children can discover
past and present inventions through
games and crafts, then fast-forward
to the future and create their own
robot.
On July 29 it's Crimes and Clues,
Solve a mystery, go behind bars, and
escape from jail. Explore the Huron
Histciric Gaol as both a detective and
a prisoner.
Ahoy Matey! Aug. 5. At the
Marine Museum, children will
become a pirate, create their own
hidden treasure, and learn about
ships.
The Sky's the Limit on Aug. 12.
For the first time. the museum will

theme Aug. 19. Travel through time
from Ancient Egypt to modern cities
in this camp held at the Huron
Historic Gaol. You'll build struc-
tures of all shapes and sizes, includ-
ing pyramids, bridges and even a
house made out of food.
Finally, it's Good Old Fashioned
Fun, Aug. 26. Registrants will be
running and jumping in hoop races,
obstacle courses and many other
outdoor games at the Huron County
Museum. They can make a variety
of musical instruments and toys, and
finish off the day with homemade
ice cream.

tle and a hat. Limited spaces are

Known for her past work with such
groups as Muddy York and The
Flying Bulgar Klezmer Band, she
currently works as a solo artist, with
her own groups, Fiddlesong and the
Come From Every Way Band (the
latter for children) and with
Cameroon musician Mjacko Backo
and Kalimba Kalimba!
Lederman was most recently seen
at the Blyth Festival in The Outdoor
Donnellys and Barndance Live! She
is also a frequent guest on Stuart
McLean's Vinyl Cafe.
Capucine (Cappy) Onn from Blyth
plays Anne in her younger years. She
has just completed her final year in
theatre and drama studies at the
University of Toronto., Born and
raised just outside of Blyth, Onn
started playing the violin at the tender
age of three and has been a familiar
face around the theatre since she was
a toddler. Onn co-ordinated the Blyth
Festival Young Company and Youth
workshops for a number of years and
also appeared in The Outdoor
Donnellys.
