At the Morris-Turnberry council
meeting on June 22, mayor Dorothy
Kelly read a letter to councillors
frc n R.J. Burnside, explaining the
proce§s for the repair of the Mustard
Drain.
After some discussion, councillors
agreed that a letter should be
forwarded to R.J. Burnside in
regards to the work on the drain as
well as two requests from council.
The first is that council would
prefer faster service on drain repairs
then the Mustard drain received. The
second request is that the drainage
superintendent should be firmer
with the contractors and confirm the
date by which the work must be
completed.
Following the letter agreement,
council requested an itemized
invoice for the drainage
superintendent service on the repairs
by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father
Lynn. Morrison in 1966.
Visitation was at McBurney
Funeral Home, Wing ham on
Thursday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9
p.m. Memorial services were held at
the Wingham United Church on
Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. Wayne Beamer
officiated.
Cremation has taken place with
placement of ashes in Wingham
Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Huron
County Humane Society or the
charity of your choice would be
appreciated as expressions of
of the Mustard drain.
-It was also decided that the
council contact should be the
drainage commissioner set up for the
subject area, but only if a
commissioner is required and that
councillors and landowners should
not have to be in the trenches
helping the drain construction
because the municipality will be
liable in the event of an accident.
The final decision was that the
road crew should be given the first
option to repair the drain.

payment for for the road accounts.
***
Councillors accepted the fuel
tender submitted by Foxton Fuels at
