Agriculture Brussels Livestock report Thursday's veal sells $5 to $10 higher Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending July 2 were 1,335 head of cattle, 335 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold at prices $1 lower. Fancy and double-muscle steers and heifers sold $82 to $88 with sales up to $90.25. Choice steers and heifers sold $75 to $80 and second-cut steers and heifers sold $70 to $75. The cows sold on a steady market. On Thursday the veal sold at prices $5 to $10 higher. The lambs sold on a good steady active trade. On Friday calves and yearlings traded on a strong active market. There were 471 steers on offer. Fifteen steers consigned by Emerson L. The all-you-can-eat barbecue for $7 is at noon, then it's on to see the beef operation of Elmer Martin.
