Elma put the ball back in play, only
to have Matt Terpstra take it from
them and pass to Mitch Kellington
who cartwheeled over the ball when
he tried to put it in the net. At this
point. Higgins got the ball and
forcefully kicked it in the net
bringing the score to 3-0 for Brussels.
Elma took the kick-off sending it
down to Heimstra, who saved the
shot.
On another attempt Elma failed to
get by. Heimstra kicked the ball all
the way to the other end, where Elma
touched it before it went out of
bounds. Sheppard took the throw-in
towards the Elma net, where they

tripping Kellington who had to rest a
few minutes before returning to the
game. Smith threw the ball into play
where it was played back and forth
across the field. Then Waechter
passed to Heimstra who tried to kick
it in but Elma saved the shot.

halfbacks were really working hard
at playing their positions and getting
the ball to the forwards. Keep up the
good effort team," said coach Mary
Ann Drost.

The Brussels U-6 IVs played a
great game against Brussels III last
week.
Logan Kellington tried to score
right off the start, but the opposing
goalie Konrad McArter, saved the
shot. Kellington scored on his
second attempt to put it in, giving U-
6 IV a 1-0 lead.
After several attempts to score,
Carlie Ducharme put one in past
goalie McArter to take a 2-0 lead.
With a line change, Derrick
Waechter came out from net to take
charge of the ball and put it in past
McArter. After the kick off,
Waechter again took control of the
ball where he brought it up to the net
and made a great pass to Kellington
who scored his second of the game.
Before the first half was over,
Ducharme scored her second of the

six shots before Ducharme scored
her third of the night.
A line change brought Waechter
out to play where he passed to
Dawson Peachey who scored his
first of the season. Waechter was
tired of passing to his teammates, so
he took the ball after kick-off all the
way down to the net where he scored
making it 7-0.
Coach Mike Dauphin called a line
change, so Kellington and Peachey
passed the ball back and forth across
the field and Peachey kicked his
second goal of the night, and season,
into the net. One more line change
saw lots of action when Waechter
tried to score but it bounced off
McArter 's shins. However,
Ducharme was quick to react,
kicking it in past him to score.
Dylan McNeil scored his first of
the night right off the kick-off,
making it 10-0. The last goal was
scored by Ducharme bringing the
final score 11-0 for U-6 IV.
