Fake emergency
If an emergency occurred in the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry, key officials, agencies and
departments must be prepared to take immediate action to help area citizens who are in
need, which is why the municipality tested its emergency plan during an Emergency Planning
Table-Top exercise on June 11 in council chambers. The concept was to conduct a table-top
exercise based on a tornado in the municipality, causing a threat to life, property and the envi-
ronment as officials went step-by-step through the process. From left: Peter Mulvey, Berry
O'Krafka, Const. Arden Farrow, councillor Jim Nelemans and clerk-treasurer Nancy Michie.
