(Elyse DeBruyn photo) Challenge: Finding the time to be active for sixty minutes per day Solution: Spread physical activity throughout your daily routine to work up to 60 minutes. As you progress to more intense exercise you can cut back to 30 minutes 4 times per week. Get started by: • Walking for 10 minutes several times a day — walk instead of taking the car to the store, or mailbox, slip out for a walk at lunchtime, or join a friend for a morning or evening walk. • Walking briskly, jogging, cycling, swimming, skipping or dancing for 20 minutes or more. • Substituting an activity break for a coffee break — bend, stretch, and flex to keep your muscles relaxed and joints mobile for 10 minutes at a time. You can do this at home, at work or out in the great outdoors. • Trying 10 minutes of muscle strengthening or weight resistance activities such as situps, push-ups or weights while you watch TV or before going to bed. • Taking a break and play actively with your kids for 10 minutes or more • Finding more ways to keep active by checking out the "healthy body quiz" at www.dietitians.ca/eatwell By Pam McLellan Call 887-9456 The Classifieds Are the Cat's Meow. The Cowboy Loft is an extension to the existing Brussels Agri- Services Ltd. located next 'to the Agricultural Centre in Bnisgels. "The idea came from a western business we looked at and thought Sympathy is extended to Rev. Theresa McDonald-Lee and Johnathon on the death of his great- grandmother. Rev. The exhibits were auctioned off with the proceeds going to the cancer society. On Wednesday evening members of the Huronlea Auxiliary and others who volunteer at Huronlea and Huronview were treated to dinner and entertainment in the Seaforth Legion. Those celebrating anniversaries are Rick and Jo-Ann McDonald, June 18; Ernie and Annette Lewington, June 19; Paul and Sandra (Cameron) Coghlin, June 23 and Dean and Lori Bentley, June 24. David Smith's golf course was a busy spot on the weekend. On Friday evening MDL _Doors employees enjoyed golfing and a social time in the clubhouse. Saturday evening friends and family of Gregg Smith golfed to celebrate there might be a need for it in our area. So instead of people having to drive for hours to get western clothing, we brought the west here," said Tim. The Cowboy Loft has been designed to resemble a western store with rustic cedar railing and banister, a unique rotating saddle stand, a desert display of buckles and of course two little chameleons to bring the western theme together. "It's like walking right into the west. You feel like you're back in Texas," said Prior. an upcoming wedding in his family. On Saturday morning the Gordon Knight male descendants golfed at David's, then went to Steve Knight's farm for lunch: In the afternoon bocce ball, lawn darts, an ugly shirt contest, frisbee golf and skeet shooting were followed by a roast beef dinner. Rick Knight was the winner of the "Prestigious Plaque", given to the winner of the day. He had his father, Leslie and son William there to make the only three generations in attendance. The western-like 'store offers customers a wide selection of brand- name western clothing articles for men, women and children including shirts, jeans and western boots that come in all sizes. The ensemble wouldn't be complete without the belt buckles, cowboy hats and jewelry, which is all offered in the new giftware section. Although Brussels Agri-Service offers a selection of tack, The Cowboy Loft has a large selection with more variety for customers to choose from. "I think the community has lots of benefit from this because we'll draw people from all over who will shop in other stores around town," said Prior. The Cowboy Loft will hold a grand opening celebration on June 26 beginning at 10 a.m. at the store. Cranbrook people extend sympathy
