Challenge: Finding the time to be active
for sixty minutes per day
Solution: Spread physical activity throughout your daily routine to work up to 60
minutes. As you progress to more intense exercise you can cut back to 30 minutes
4 times per week. Get started by:
• Walking for 10 minutes several times a day — walk instead of taking the car to
the store, or mailbox, slip out for a walk at lunchtime, or join a friend for a morning
or evening walk.
• Walking briskly, jogging, cycling, swimming, skipping or dancing for 20
minutes or more.
• Substituting an activity break for a coffee break — bend, stretch, and flex to
keep your muscles relaxed and joints mobile for 10 minutes at a time. You can do
this at home, at work or out in the great outdoors.
• Trying 10 minutes of muscle strengthening or weight resistance activities such
as situps, push-ups or weights while you watch TV or before going to bed.
• Taking a break and play actively with your kids for 10 minutes or more
• Finding more ways to keep active by checking out the "healthy body quiz" at

Liberal PAUL STECKLE
A Proven Record of Representing You
Many Canadians feel that they no longer
have a say in Parliament. This is
because some M.P.'s have opted to be
Ottawa's representative in the riding instead of being the riding's
representative in Ottawa. The Paul Martin Team is committed to
creating a political system that will enhance public participation
and confidence in the government.
Expressing the views of my constituents has always-been my
first priority. I have never been afraid to stand up and speak on
behalf of my constituents, regardless of the issue. I have sought
the opinions of the residents of Huron-Bruce, listened carefully,
and most importantly, acted according to their wishes.

there might be a need for it in our
area. So instead of people having to
drive for hours to get western
clothing, we brought the west here,"
said Tim.
The Cowboy Loft has been
designed to resemble a western store

a unique rotating saddle stand, a
desert display of buckles and of
course two little chameleons to bring
the western theme together.
"It's like walking right into the

The western-like 'store offers
customers a wide selection of brand-

The ensemble wouldn't be

Although Brussels Agri-Service

Cowboy Loft has a large selection

"I think the community has lots of
benefit from this because we'll draw

Prior.
The Cowboy Loft will hold a
