Coach Mary Ann Drost said, this soccer game was very evenly matched with excellent playing effort by both teams. "Clinton kept the pressure on and took several shots on the Blyth net during the last few minutes of the game. Blyth's goaltender Greg Roetcisoender played an excellent game and didn't allow Clinton to score again. The Thunder played the game with only two subs, as some players were absent. Each player rose to the call for 'extra effort' to play the game with longer shifts. Our terrific defensive players Kelly MacDonald, Jeanette Schramm and Lucas Frawley played the entire game. The whole team is working very hard this year and the results are shown with another win," said Drost. Thunder wins 2-1
