It was a busy week getting ready
for the Legion's silent auction held
on the weekend. The Cadets
removed the chairs so there was
plenty of space to display the many
items.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
were spent numbering, tagging and
arranging the over-I60 items
donated by the members and friends
of the Branch.
There were many people in on
Friday evening and a great crowd on
Saturday afternoon when time was
called and the bidding ceased.
The Thursday night dart league
had only nine players taking part.
The first-place team was John
