Learning the ropes
Students from East Wawanosh Public School were in for a real treat last Wednesday, when
Huron dairy educator, Caroline Klaver came to educate students from kindergarten to Grade
8 about dairy production. Over two days, Klaver talked to the students about dairy farming
careers, nutrition and processing. Klaver (right) explains to kindergarten students Jared
VanCamp and Sydney Wightman, how to milk a cow while fellow classmate, Justin Rodger
watches. (Elyse DeBruyn photo) ' 2
