On a sunny Friday, Feb. 27,

which was a bird seen at feeders
recently, or one they were waiting to
see in the spring.
Bernice Norman gave the
treasurer's report.
The next meeting is to be at Vera
Penfound's on March 24. Jacquie
McKee will be in charge of lunch.

The Club then viewed some
greeting cards that Mrs. Boonstoppel
has made. She taught everyone how
to 'make them. They spent the
afternoon learning a new craft they
can do at home.
After everyone had completed a
card, they were served a lunch of
fresh fruit, fruit bread and cheese.
During the social hour, a discussion
was held regarding Auburn's 150th
celebration and the club's upcoming
85th reunion.
Cook's message was A Memory
Building Community. Spiritual
readings were Psalm 91 and Luke 4:
I-13. This past Sunday was
communion Sunday.
The Auburn Horticultural Society
will be meeting on March 8 at the
Auburn Community Hall at 7:30

and organizing the summer's work.
Everyone is welcomed and new
members are encouraged. The
Society is looking for suggestions
on how to beautify Auburn for the
