The Blyth Fire Department was thrilled to receive a $5,000 cheque from the Blyth Legion
Ladies Auxiliary on Feb. 22. The donation will go towards the Emergency Services Training
Centre in Blyth. Val Pethick, president of the Ladies Auxiliary, hands the cheque over to Ian

BIG presenting proposal to NH
The Blyth Idea Group (BIG) has
been searching for a strategy for
revitalizing this community's main
street and developing the economy.
The group is now ready to preset a
proposal to the Twp. of North Huron

for agreeing to hold this special
meeting in order to have sufficient

public meeting at 7:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 3 in the
auditorium of the Blyth and Area
Community Centre.
