The Peacemakers program at Blyth Public School is now receiving support from the local
Lions Club. President Tyler Stewart, presented a cheque in the amount of $380 to cover Me
annual costs. The program was originally supported by the Blyth Optimist Club, and when the
Club disbanded, the members presented the Peacemakers with enough funds to support the
program until the end of 2003. Asked for assistance to continue, the Lions generously
responded. With Stewart, from left, are: teacher Cheryl Cronin, Anthony Peters, Jennifer
MacDonald, Jennifer Williamson, Leticia Kolkman, Darcy Young. (Bonnie Gropp photo)
