a day away from work. It is a day to
remember the thousands of men
that fought in either world war one
or world war two and died to keep
our country's freedom.
If another war broke out would
you be willing to fight to keep the
freedom that our country has? I
don't know whether I would fight or
not because I don't know what the
War was like.
The men who died on the battle
fields are now lying in Flanders
Fields. There the graves lay row in
row among the poppies which grow
there.
Today we put on a poppy, but
how many people do you think
remember and respect our 'friends.
who fought in the war? We should
all go to special programs . which
they have in different places in our
country and remember our friends.
Just think of the houses we live
in today and then remember what

When the, gory wars, did boil and ,
• • rage.
History wrote a full. dark page,
Covered' with blood, black dirt, and
Pain-- •
And crosses under which they're
lain.
Many years have come and gone;
But still the sorrow lingers on,
Of killed and • wounded, Maimed
and blind.
And countries, bleak, from being '
mined. •
Would you have put out yoarlife on
time? •'
And gone to fight amid the slime?
If time was changed, and YOu were
killed.
Would you want yont memory to be
