It is a day to remember the thousands of men that fought in either world war one or world war two and died to keep our country's freedom. If another war broke out would you be willing to fight to keep the freedom that our country has? I don't know whether I would fight or not because I don't know what the War was like. The men who died on the battle fields are now lying in Flanders Fields. There the graves lay row in row among the poppies which grow there. Today we put on a poppy, but how many people do you think remember and respect our 'friends. who fought in the war? We should all go to special programs . which they have in different places in our country and remember our friends. Just think of the houses we live in today and then remember what Lucknow, was third. Both girls attend Lucknow Public School. There were eleven entries in the Essay contest and twenty-four poems. The first place winners in each division will be presented with 510.00 at their respective schools.
