The opening choruses - "It Came Ppon a Midnight Clear, It Only Takes a Spark and. Doxology" were sung by the senior pupils with Ruth Henderson accompanying on the piano. Tony Johnstone acted as chairman and welcomed all pres- ent. Mrs. Don McCortnack's class presented the scripture of the Lord's birth in story, song and scenery with slides. Recitations of the pre-school 'and grades one and two children of Mrs. Noble Johnston's and Mrs. Terry. Rath- well's classes were given. They were Colleen Conley, Charlene Conley and Michelle Johnston in unison; Jeff Gammie, Donnie Gammie, Jackie Wilson, Jonathan Nelson, Bobby Thompson, Shawn Thompson, Crissy Stanley, Nancy LeBlanc, Jackie Rathwell, Danny Gilchrist, May Raynard, Diane Wilson and Tammy McRae. Awards for Sunday School atten- dance in the past year were presented. Three children had perfect attendance of 47 Sundays, Jackie and Dianne Wilson, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilson and Janice McInnes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George- McInnes. Choruses were sung by the junior members of the Sunday School - Away in a Manger, God's Best Gifts, and Jesus Loves Even Me. A skit, "Negro Antics" was presented by, Mrs. Bob Gilchrist's class of grades seven and eight. Rob Henderson rendered saxaphone solo "0 Holy Night". The high school students of Rev. Glen Noble's class edited and presented their 'version of "The Birth of Jesus in Modern Times" under his guidance. The offering and dedication of White Gifts for Children's Aid Society at Walker- ton was taken by Rev. Glen Noble. "0 Crime All Ye Faithful" was sung by :everyone present as a closing number following with a prayer by Rev. Noble. Children received bags of candy and the audience was treated to home made candy. The former Emma Knack, she was born on 12th, 1888, a daughter of Jo Sophia Knack. 'On August 5, 1916 in Prest married William Trommer. Trommer was a dressmake number of years.
