must be in Grade Five or Six.
On Tuesday, December 2nd the
Brownies held their regular meet-
ing and it opened with Brownie
Ring. Sharon Struthers was Fairy
Queen. Brownie Gold was
collected and Tawny Owl did
inspection and reminded all the
Brownies to bring shoes to the
. meeting as they are counted as part
of their uniforms.
Brown Owl introduced a new
Brownie, Vickie Hackett,' to the
Pack. Second year service stars
were presented by Brown Owl to
Tracey McDonagh, Rosalea Camer-
on, Sharon Struthers and Rosemary • Gilmore.
At Pow Wow Brown Owl told the
Brownies about the requirements
of a new, badge, it is the Baker
Badge. Four Brownies were asked
to bring' lunch for the Christmas RIPLEY

Miss Margaret MacDiarmid of
Windsor visited with Mrs. Neil J.
MacKenzie last week and attended
the funeral of Miss Bertha Clark-
son.
Mrs. Ruth Helm of Lucknow
returned home last .Friday' from
Wingham -and District Hospital
where she had been a patient for
S1/2 weeks.
Richard Elliott of R. R. 3
Holyrood is a resident at Pinecrest
Manor. Lucknow.
Mrs. Arthur Breckles of Lucknow
is home from Wingham and
District Hospital, where she was a
patient for five weeks.
Mrs. Dick McQuillin 'of Kinloss
was recently a patient in University
Hospital, London for five days.
Mr. and Mrs. William Neabel
held their family Christmas supper
at the Log Cabin Restaurant.
