During the dinner Mrs. Doug Cameron provided some music with her guitar. Mrs. Bill Andrew read the scripture and Mrs. Alex Hackett gave the ,meditation, 'House- cleaning" and then all joined in singing hymn 581. The toll call was answered with each lady telling what she prepared for the supper. The exchange of gifts from the Sunshine Pals followed, and names drawn for the following year. Year end reports, were read. A skit ,was presented "What Do You Do" with Mrs. Alex Hackett, Mrs. Jim Arnold, Mrs. Jim Hunter, Mrs. Doug Raynard, Mrs. Chester ,Hackett taking part. Mrs. Frank Ritchie 'introduced Mrs. Robert Cumming who gave a demonstration on Macrame which was very interesting. Mrs. ; Ken Alton gave the Trinity Tattler and then she conducted a humerous skit. The meeting closed with the benediction. Kinlough VMS Elect Officers "Remember" was the' theme for. the November meeting held at the church, with Mrs. Don. Reid 4,as hostess and Mrs. Ruth Wilson presiding. Mrs. John' Barr' recalled the Fall Rally held earlier in the fall at Wingham and we sang the Rally. Chorus. Mrs. Don Robertson and Mrs. Frank Maulden, by means of posters and the spoken word, brought to remembrance the chap- ters of our study book, "The Unknown Country". The roll call was a: verse with the word Remember or Remembrance. The film also drew to mind the activities Of the earlier settlers in this part of the country. The .scripture, read by Mrs. Don Bushell, was a part •of the "Faith" chapter. Miss Winnifred Percy led in prayer. Suitable hymns were sung throughout. Mrs. Maulden conducted a' Bible contest. Mrs Robertson extended courtesies,, 'and Mrs. Don Reid served delicious refreshments. The new officers for 1976 are: president, Mrs. Wm. MacPherson; 1st vice president, Mrs.. Tom McDonald; 2nd vice president, Mrs. John Barr; secretary, Mrs. Glen Haldenby; assistant secret- . ary, Mrs. Frank Maulden; treasur- er, Mrs. Don Robertson; assistant treasurer. Mrs. Don Reid; pianist, Mrs. Jack. Barr; assistant pianist, Mrs. Glen Haldenby; Glad Tidings secretary, Mrs. Alex Percy; friend- ship and service, Miss Winnifred Percy; supply secretaries, Mrs. Ruth Wilson, Mrs. Don Bushell; literature and library secretary, Mrs. Stewart, McDonald. On Sunday _evening the Young People's Society met in Chalmer's Church with 'the president, Barry Elliott, presiding. The meeting opened with a sing song. Mr. Bev Kay led in prayer. Miss Wilena Brown was then introduced. She chose as' her topic Sacredness of Life. For scripture lesson she read from Genesis. After the address the group divided into discOssion groups' to discuss the information given, in the address. The offering was received by John de Boer from the 26 attenders. It was decided to go carolling on the evening of December 24. The meeting was closed. Grace was sung and lunch was served by the committee.
