Lancers Take
11-3 Loss,From
Fiarriston Team
By Gerald Murray
Although the Lancers looked
very impressive in their new green
and gold' outfits, they were lucky to
keep the score to a close 2-0 at the
end of the first period in this past
week's game with Harriston.
Late in the second, John
McKenzie got on track and,
provided the only highlight of the
second period when he scored the
Lancer's first goal of the game from
Doug Stevenson and Paul Frayne to
make the score at the end of the
second 8-1.
After settling down to hockey in
the third' period, Harriston only
outscored Lucknow 3-2. The
Lancer's goals go to John McKen-
zie from Dave MacKinnon and
Dave MacKinnon from John Em-
berthi and Art Stanley. Final
score was 11-3 for •Harriston., •
If the bays can come up with ...3
periods of hockey in the next game
like they did in the third period of
this game, they should be started
on their winning way since their
timing .and conditioning are im-
proving.
They would appreciate support
at all home games since home town
fans always help the boys come up
with a better game. Let's see you
on Sunday, December 7 at 8.00
p.m. when Hanover visits Luck-
now.
Lancer's Sunday night game
against Acton was cancelled, on
