St. John's United Church,
Georgetown was the setting for the
candlelight, double ring ceremony
_of Susan Virginia. Earle and Robert
John MacKenzie, officiated by
Rev. Harold Martin on Saturday,
October 18th, 1975.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs.
Hilda Earle of Toronto and the late
John Earle. The groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert MacKenzie
of Lucknow.
Sage. a local group, sang
"Wedding Song" for the proces-
sional, "Annie's Song and For MI
We Know" for the signing of the
register and "Day By Day" for the
recessional.
The bride, given 16 marriage by
her uncle, Mr. Bert Robertson,
Toronto. wore a high waisted jersey

Saxe of Georgetown, sister _of the
bride, wore a long full skirted

The bridesmaids were Mrs. Joan
Pollard of Petawawa, sister of the
groom, Miss Louise Milton and
Miss Shirley Levers of George-
town, bOth friends of the bride.

burgundy, dusty rose and moss
green in that of the matron of
honour. Their dresses were compli-

of the groom was ringbearer.
Best man was Doug Stevenson of
Lucknow. , Ushers were Tont
Robertson, Toronto, cousin of the
bride, Andy Anderson, Stratford
and Dave Roberts, Owen Sound,
both friends of the groom.
The groom and attendants wore
forest green tuxedos with• velvet
lapels and, vest, white shirts with
green ruffles.
Following the ceremony, the
reception was held at North Halton
Golf and= Country Club.
The bride's mother chose a beige
full length knit dress with a gold,
black and brown threaded design
and matching cape. Her corsage'
was 2 yellow, orchids.
The groom's- mother wore a
dress of melon jersey serta-peau
with matching jacket and maribou
hint. Her corsage 'was 2 white and
mauve orchids.
On a honeymoon to the north
eastern states, the bride wore a
beige corduroy pantsuit with co-
ordinating sweater and a corsage of
autumn coloured mums. The
couple are now residing in Point
Clark. ,
Guests attended from Gull Lake,
Saskatchewan, Detroit, St. Thom-
as, London, Toronto, Paris, Hunts-
ville. We keep on saying it
