evening last week with Mr. and
Mrs. Floyd Stanley and Deane,
Ripley.
A training for leaders of Guides
and Brownies was held in Wing-
ham on Saturday. Among those
attending were Mrs. David. Kirk-
land for the Lucknow Erownies;
Mrs. Don Thompson, Mrs. Jim
Morrison, Mrs. Dan Bellmore and
Mrs. Evans Helm 'for Lucknow
Guides; • Joanne Hendricks for
Kingsbridge Guides; District Com-
missioner Mrs. Jack McKim of
Lucknow.
Mrs. Arabell Bushell of Clinton
accompanied by Mrs, Russel Alton
of Goderich leaves this Friday,
November 7th, for Lakeland,
.Florida, where 'Mrs. Bushell _will
spend the winter. Mrs. Alton will
visit for a few weeks in Florida with
friends. Mrs. Bushell had a
holiday this past summer on a
conducted tour to Yugoslavia,
Rumania, Bulgaria, Turkey and
Russia.
The regular meeting of •the
Lucknow Women's Institute will be
held in the Assembly Room on
Tuesday, November 1 lth at 1.15
p.m. Guest speaker will be Mrs.
Margaret Blue of Ripley.

London were callers on Sunday
with his aunt, Mrs. Ed Thom,'
Lucknow.

left last week for Florida, where
they will spend the winter, were
Mrs. Wellington Henderson who
left Friday for Port Orange, Mr.
and Mrs. Herb McQuillin left
Saturday for Lakeland and Mr. and
Mrs. Al Wraight left on Wednes-
day of this week, also to Port

FATHER PASSES .
The sympathy of the community
is extended to Mr. and 'Mrs. Bob
Bregman and family in the loss of
his father, 'Mr. jan Bregmanof ,
Exeter, who passed away in
London Hospital on Monday,
October 27th.
We are pleased to report that
Mrs. Wesley Young returned home
on Sunday from Victoria Hospital,
London, where she has been a
patient for the last ten dayS.
Nancy de Boer of Centralia and
Helen Weirsma of Harriston 'spent
the week end at their' .parents'
homes.
Mr. and Mrs. 'George Young and
family of Wingham and Mr.
Wesley Young of Langside spent
Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs.
Eugene Gardner and family of
Lucknow.
Mr. Wynn spent the week end at
his farm home on the 8th
concession of Kinloss.
Sorry to report that Jim Moffat
is stilt a patient in Wingham
Hospital. We hope he will soon be
able to return home.

Young Peoples held their meeting
in Whitechurch Presbyterian

terian Churches on Sunday, Nov-
ember 16th when the students of
Knox College aided by, the Young
People will take the services. , This
is repeat from lait year when they
presented a very interesting ser-
vice. We hope.' to have a. good
attendance.

all aunts of the deceased; Ray

Mrs. Ron Austin and Mr. and Mrs.
George Moffat of Goderich; Mrs.
Donald Nicholson of Dungannon;
Frank Olheiser of Wingham.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ashton of
Lucknow visited on the week end
with Dr. and Mrs, Fraser Ashton,
Antoine and Stefanie, at Lucerne,
Quebec.

is a patient at University Hospital,
