Each patrol built its own fire, and the girls cooked hot dogs and banana boats. Eleven girls, one visitor and three leaders made the hike and were joined by a praying mantis and a mischievous pup along the way. The praying mantis wasn't much of a problem, but the pup was a nuisance to the point of eating the ketchup. • The girls are planning a Hal-- lowe'en party for this week's meeting. Wayne M.
