AGNEW PHONE 528-3532 JEWELLERY AND CHINA LUCKNOW Honoured On 30th Anniversary In honour of the 30th wedding anniversary of, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Nicholson of St. Helens, a family dinner was held on Satur- day, October 18th ,at St. Helens Institute Hall, catered to by ladies of the Women's Institute. Present' for the dinner was their family of eight: Mr: and Mrs. Tony (Donna) Johnstone and Paul of Lucknow; Mr. and Mrs: Tom Nicholson, Steven and Scott of St. Helens; ,Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Nicholson of Strathroy; Mr. and, Mrs. Jim (Lorraine) Clark of Chatham; Rae, Larry, Mary and Allan, all at home. Mrs. Nicholson is the former Verna McDonald, daughter of the • late Mr. and Mrs. Colin McDonald of St. Helens. Chester is the son of the, late Mr. and Mrs. Angus Nicholson of Belfast. The actual date of their .anniversary was October 21st. Chester and Verna were .present- ed with a recliner 'chair from their family. Following the dinner, relatives and friends gathered at •the hall for a social time. Town and Country Bowling Ladies' high single, went to Olive Smith with 207, high double to Anna Johnstone with 353. High single for the men went to Les Purvis with 210. Lighted candelabra /- adorned with peach coloured mums,. daisies and baby's breath provided the setting in the Kinlough Presbyter- ian Church for the exchange of vows between. Shirley Jean. Bushell and Glenn William Morningstar at 7.00 o'clock Friday evening, Sept- ember 12. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. Gerald Thomp- son of Teeswater. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bushell of R. R. 2 HolYrood and the groom, the son of Mr: and Mrs. A. Morningstar of Lucknow. Organist was Jim Henderson iot\\ Lucknow. Miss Mary' Anne Alton of R. R. 2 Lucknow, as soloist, sang "Sunrise, Sunset" and "Colour My' World" before 'the ceremony . and "A Time For Us" and "For All We Know" during the signing of • the register. . The bride, given in' marriage by her father,. chose a high-waisted gown of ivory coloured jersey, featuring a V-shaped neckline and ivory coloured lace inserts at the shoulders. The, tong straight sleeves,. neckline and waist 'were also trimmed with the lace, as was the bottom 'of the gown which flowed out into a' long train. An ivory coloured Juliet cap held her long veil trimmed with lace iddntical to that which trimmed the gown. She carried a nosegay of white and peach carnations, daisies and, baby's breath. Miss Jan Bushell of Vancouver, B.C., sister of the bride, was maid of honour. She wore a long, flowing peach coloured jersey gown with scoop neckline, long straight sleeves, high waistline and ties at the back:- The bridesmaids were Brenda Bushell of Lucknow, cousin of 'the bride; Valerie Morningstar of Vancouver, B.C., sister of the groom; and Betty Anne Bushell of R. R. 2 Holyrood, sister of the bride." They wore tong gowns of ivory jersey knit ' scattered with peach flowers, identically styled to that of the maid of honour.
