Mrs. Harold Treleaven of Luck-
now leaves on Thursday of this
week for Calgary, Alberta where
she will spend a month with her
daughter Mrs. Frank MacKenzie,
Mr., MacKenzie and family.

Dr. Allen Sangster, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Bev Sangster of Toronto,
and two of their children, Hew and
Becky, called on Mr. 'and Mrs. W.
F. McDonald, Lucknow,, one day
last week.

Died In West
GORDON THOMPSON
Word has been received here by
relatives informing them of the
death of Adam Gordon Thompson
of Calgary, Alberta on Saturday,
October 5th.
He was born in Lucknow', the
eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Dave Thompson.
Gordon 'went west' in 1920., He
lived in Regina, Lethbridge and for
the last fifteen years in. Calgary.
He is survived by his wife Ena,
one son Robert and three grand-
children of Dallas Texas; two
brothers Andrew, of BoWmanville
and Kenneth of Chicago.
He was predeceased by two
brothers, William of Toronto and
Robert of Kincardine.
The funeral service was held at
St. Barnabas Anglican Church on
October 8th with interment in
Queen's Park' Cemetery, Calgary.
