Sympathy of folks in this area go to his wife, the former Lenore Logan of Ripley. The funeral service was held in Toronto last Wednesday. A graveside service and interment ' followed in Ripley Cemetery. Wedding vows were exchanged between Margaret Doelman and Chuck McMann On July 19th at the. Lucknow Christian Reformed Church. Rev. Hoogsteen of Blyth4_ officiated. Jane Christmas,. a friend of the bride, provided the organ Music. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Doelman of HOlyrood. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Melville Mc- Mann of Toronto. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown of polyester satin, with a fitted bodice, overlayed With flocked sheer, princess line skirt and long sleeves gathered to the cuff 'of flocked sheer. The long train from the waist was edged with scalloped lace as was .the hemline. /Her headpiece was a lace covered cap with elbow length veil dotted with handsewn _daisies. She carried a bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses, white miniature carnations and baby's breath trimmed with ivy and .yelloW ribbon. Christine Ebel, a friend from Waterloo, was maid of honour. Her flowered yellow gingham dress with a sweetheart neckline had short puffed sleeves and a lower ruffle. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white daisies. Bride- maids were Karen Doeltnan, sister of the bride, and Joanne Jurjens_of Goderich, friend of the bride. Their dresses and flowers were similar to the maid of honour. Anne Doelman, youngest sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. She carried a basket of white and yellow daisies. Mike Myers of Toronto, friend of the grooin, was best man. Ushers were Gerald Doelman, brother of the bride and John Defier, cousin of 'the groom. Nicky Doelman, brother of the ' bride, acted as ringbearer. A dinner followed at Sutton Park Inn in Kincardine. Guests were later received at the home of the a. ST.. HELENS After spending a few days at- his home,, Frank Mewhinney returned to University Hospital, London on Monday, where he is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. • Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Forster, Wray and Wayne were guests at her niece's wedding, Miss June Elliott, at Bethel Church on Saturday. On Thursday evening, October 2nd the '70th anniversary of the St. Helens W.I. will be held' in the St. Helens Hall at 8.30 p.m. All former members' and friends are cordially invited. The groom's mother chose a mint green full length gown with matching jacket and bone accessor- ies. Her corsage was of yellow , miniature mums. For travelling the bride chose a mint green two-piece suit with white accessories and a corsage of pink feathered carnations. After a honeymoon in the Kawartha Lakes, the couple will make their home in Waterloo. The groom is studying •at Wilfred Laurier University.
