Wilmette, 'Illinois. Mrs. Snider's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Opperman of New York City, were

Mrs. Clarence Bell of Wingham,
formerly of tucknow, has just
returned from a two week holiday
spent in Tob'er'mory, and in Ohio at
Cleveland, Clyde, Norwalk, Bel-
view and Toledo.. '
Mrs. James England, Mrs. Don
MacLeod and Catherine Ann of
Lucknow returned Friday after
spending two weeks with Mrs.
MacLeod's- daughter and son-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Morrison
and new baby in Wardlow, Alberta.
. Mrs. JObn Emerson, Ross Street
Lucknow, visited recently with her
brother Isaac Nixon and Mrs.
Nixon of Belfast.
Tom Salkeld of Lucknow recently
spent two weeks with his daughter
Dr. Helen Salkeld at North Gower.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Reed and
Kevin of Hazel Park, Michigan
visited on the week end with his
parents Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Reed,
Lucknow. Several friends and
relatives visited with Kevin while
he was at his grandparents.
Ray Elliott; son of Mr. and Mrs.
Bryce Elliott, Lucknow, underwent
knee surgery in. Halifax Infirmary
Hospital last week. Merle flew to
Halifax, Tuesday to visit with Ray
prior to and following his opera-
tion. She was accompanied by
Mrs. Don Mason of Kincardine,
Ray expected to be able to leave the
hospital this week.
Ralph Nixon of Wingham and
Wayne Nixon of Ripley visited
recently, with their parents,. Mr.
and Mrs. Isaac. Nixon of Belfast:.
Mrs. Gertrude" Piggot of Chat-
ham visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Bogues, Lucknow, for the 'past
week.
Mrs. Lloyd McNall, Lucknow,
returned home 'Saturday from
Victoria Hospital, London where
she had been a patient "for three
weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Graham,
Lucknow, and Mrs. Evan Keith, R.
R. 5 Lucknow, visited in Oakville
last ' week with Mr. and Mrs.
Murray Tuck and family.

from University. Hospital, London
after spending nine weeks, there
